Getting Started as a Student

Welcome to Limudi! Here's how to get started.

Your First Steps

  1. Log in with the credentials your teacher or school provided
  2. Check My Classes: your teacher enrolls you, so classes appear automatically
  3. View your assignments: click My Assignments and open an assignment to see its instructions and due date. If your teacher shares the rubric, you see it too
  4. Start writing: use the editor to write your work. If your teacher and school allow it, the AI Study Assistant can help you brainstorm and improve your writing
  5. Submit: when you're ready, review your work and click Submit Assignment in the toolbar. On smaller screens the button shows only a paper plane icon

Key Things to Know

AI Writing Assistant

If AI is turned on for your class, you can ask the AI Study Assistant for help while writing. It can explain concepts, suggest improvements, and help you brainstorm. You still write your own words. Learn more about the AI assistant

Your Writing is Tracked

Limudi records your writing process in the background. This helps your teacher see that the work is your own. Just write naturally in the editor. The tracking is automatic. Learn more about authenticity

Work Offline

If you lose internet, keep writing. Your work saves locally and syncs when you reconnect. Learn more about offline editing

Mobile App

You can use Limudi in a web browser or in the Limudi app for iOS and Android. Learn about the mobile app

Getting Help

Click Help (the owl icon) in the toolbar to chat with Lumi, our support assistant. If AI is turned off for your account, Help opens the support page instead. You can also browse the Help Center or contact support.
