Writing Journey

The Writing Journey shows how a piece of work was written: when the student worked, how the text grew, what was pasted, and a replay of the writing.

Opening a Writing Journey

  • From Journeys: click Journeys in the sidebar and click a card on the Journeys tab.
  • From the review page: in the Authenticity & Progress Overview panel, click View Writing Journey.

Click Go to Review to return to the review page.

The journey exists only for work typed in Limudi. Otherwise the page says No writing journey data available.

The Story

A few sentences describing how the work was written: over how many days and sessions, the longest session, how much was pasted, and the typing pace.

Lumi's Review

Lumi, the AI proctor, gives its view of the writing process: No Concerns Found, Needs Review or Flagged, with its reasoning and key factors. You can have the reasoning translated into your language.

Watch the Writing Unfold

A replay of the work being typed. Use Play and Pause, choose a speed (1x, 5x, 10x or 50x), and drag the bar to jump to any point. Paste and dictation counters update as it plays. For group work, the replay shows the shared document.

The Writing Flow

A timeline of the writing. Each colored segment is a writing session. Markers show pastes and dictation.

When They Wrote

One row per day the student wrote, with each session placed on the hours of that day.

Session Breakdown

Every writing session with the gaps between them. Click a session to see its keystrokes, typing speed, dictation, pasted and deleted characters.

Paste Events

Every paste, with its time, size and a preview of the pasted text. Pastes that look like quotations are tagged Citation.

Older Work

For older work whose raw typing data was archived, the page shows Detailed timeline not available and a summary built from the stored analysis instead.

Who Can See It

Teachers and school administrators. Students do not see the replay or the score.
