Managing Users

Accounts are managed on the Users tab of the Admin Dashboard. Open the dashboard with Dashboard (or Admin) in the sidebar, then click Users.

Find a user

The table shows Username, Name, Email, Role, School, Classes and Created.

  • Filter by Role narrows the list to one role.
  • Filter by School narrows it to one school.
  • Search finds users by name, username or email.

  2. Fill in Username, Email, First Name, Last Name and Password.
  3. Choose the Role.

To put the new user in classes, click Edit on their row afterwards and use Add Class under Class Memberships.

You can reset passwords for teachers and students in the same school as your own account. The key icon is hidden for everyone else.

Delete accounts

  • One account: click the trash icon on the row, then Delete in the Delete User dialog.
  • Several accounts: tick the boxes next to them, then click Delete Selected. Clear Selection unticks them.

Put users in classes

You can add or remove classes in the Edit dialog. For moving many students at once, use the Class Memberships or Enrollment Matrix tabs. See Class Memberships and Enrollment.

Teachers who sign up on their own

Teachers who sign up with your school's email domain wait on the School Approvals tab. See School Approvals.

What is not on this tab

  • There is no suspend or deactivate action. To stop someone signing in, delete the account.
  • There is no CSV import here. See Roster Import.
