Other Per-Student Settings

The same Settings dialog has three more tabs:

  • Language level: how the AI adjusts its language for this student. See Understanding Language Levels.
  • AI access: turn the AI writing tutor on or off for this student and record the parent's consent for AI. Year-group rules and a parent's refusal always take precedence over this switch.
  • Login badge: a QR code the student scans to sign in.

Reviewing Audio Submissions

When a student submits audio, the review page shows an audio player with the recording's length and size. You grade it with the same grading panel as a written submission.

Automatic transcription of audio is not available yet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do accommodations affect typing pattern analysis? A: Speech to Text (Dictation) and Motor Accommodation are taken into account so the student is not penalized for how they enter text. Keep accommodations in mind when you read authenticity results.

Q: Can I set accommodations for a whole class at once? A: No. Accommodations are set for each student.
