Integrations

The Integrations page connects Limudi to your school's learning platform. Open the account menu (your name at the top of the sidebar) and choose Integrations. The page is titled LMS Integrations. You can also get there from Import from Canvas or Classroom on the Classes page.

The Provider Cards

Each card shows a platform, whether it is Connected or Not connected, and what it supports: Roster Sync, Grade Passback, Assignments and Student Login. The usual cards are Google Classroom, Canvas and Schoology.

Click a card to connect or to manage the connection.

What Every Integration Does

Once connected, a platform's page has:

• Available Courses: courses you teach there. Click Import, or tick several and click Import selected. Each import creates a Limudi class linked to the course, with you as its teacher, and loads its students.
• Your Courses: linked courses, with when they last synced, Sync and View Class.
• Sync All Rosters: updates every linked class.
• A banner when the connection has a problem, such as an expired connection, with a Reconnect button.

When you return a student's work in a linked class, the grade is sent to the platform. The Gradebook shows a warning when grades were not sent, with the reason.

Canvas

Clicking Canvas the first time opens the Canvas Setup wizard.

1. Find Instance: enter your school's Canvas address.
2. Connect:
   • If your school already set up Canvas, click Connect Canvas and sign in with your own Canvas account.
   • Otherwise, choose Quick Connect: in Canvas, go to Account, Settings, Approved Integrations, create a new access token, copy it, paste it into Limudi and click Verify. Full OAuth is for schools and needs a Canvas administrator, so ask your school administrator about it.
3. Import your courses: click Import on the courses you want, then Done.

On the Canvas page, Show courses lets you see current and upcoming courses, one school year, or all courses.

Disconnecting

The disconnect button on a platform's page unlinks all your courses from it. Your classes and student data stay in Limudi, but grades stop syncing.

Students Missing After an Import

• The student is not enrolled in the course on the platform. Add them there, then click Sync.
• The platform did not share the student's email. Limudi lists their names after the sync.
• The student's email belongs to an account in another school or a deleted account. Ask your school administrator.
