Getting Started as a Teacher

Welcome to Limudi! Here's how to set up your classes and start assigning work.

Your First Steps

  1. Log in and explore your teacher dashboard. New teachers start with a short setup that can create a first class and import a class list.
  2. Create a class: go to Classes and click Create class. Enter a Class Name and an optional Subject, or choose Import from Google Classroom. Class management guide
  3. Add students: upload or paste your class list during teacher setup, click Add students on the class page, or import a Google Classroom course with its students. When a class has students who have not set up their login yet, click Manage Invite Link in that class to share a link they use to claim their accounts. More on enrollment
  4. Create your first assignment: click Create Assignment. Use Smart Start to have AI set it up from your instructions, or set it up yourself. Add a Grading Rubric, set a Due Date, and choose one or more Classes. Creating assignments guide
  5. Review submissions: grade student work, view authenticity insights, and give feedback. Grading guide
